Report Back – 2015 Chaplaincy Fun Run

This year every one seems to have had an absolute blast at the 2015 Chaplaincy Fun Run – all the Organisers and Marshalls had to meet at x MarqueesCentenary Lakes at 6.00am – Some of the marshalls who staked out the course and looked after other basic resources had a 4.00am start.

The barbeque area at Centenary Lakes in Caboolture was a buzz with people and excitement – Once registered, all moved over to the warm-up area where they were welcomed and treated to some warm-up excercises by Wyatt Roy, Member for Parliament Longman, Hoggs Breath PIG and Shane Moon from Rotary Caboolture.

You should have seen Hogg twitching when Shane Moon suggested we have a beautiful Bacon and Egg Roll with warm coffee before we start

Hogg reckoned we should skip the Bacon and Egg (lol)

.

The Start was quite exciting with soooo many runners trying to get away as quickly as possible. Young and old took part in the race and some parents even pushed toddlers in prams over the 2km, 5km and 10km run.
